Are you sure about that, I believe that a large percentage of
advanced-function mobile phones run Symbian as their main OS? (RIM and
Windows Mobile being obvious exceptions) After all Nokia (still the worlds
largest #1 handset manufacturer I believe) spent a good chunk of cash to
essentially own the Symbian OS instead of letting it continue to be a larger
consortium of manufacturers controlling it.
