But, Sony (Motto:"Our customers are too stupid to care about rootkits
so why shouldn't we use them?") has promised not to set the
screw-the-customer-out-of-the-high-def-experience-he-bought-our-hardware-
and-content-for bit on Sony Blue-ray content. At least not initially.

Don't you trust them?
