I'd like to add an external DVD+R burner to my XP computer.
The only one on sale this eek seems to be the CompUSA house brand,
for $60 after rebates. Is this a decent price? Anybody know who makes it?

With Easter next week and Memorial day in a month I might wait to see if
there are any better prices, but name brands other than Sony don't seem to
be offered very much. All seem to be dual layer (which I don't expect to
use) and some of lightscribe (ditto, because of the extra cost factor).
I'm looking for something basic that works well, burns everything and
lasts forever; nothing fancy.
