hey, i have no beef with people on that. i'll note though that for
every product you'll get a skew.
in other words, although most people thought the Yugo sucked, there
were a few that liked it and had no problems.
in the same way, although most toyotas perform great, there will always
be some people who get lemons.
the question is what is the probability of getting problems with a
product.
which is why i lean towards mass surveys on product quality, because it
surveys a large pool of data points, rather than on the anecdotes and
stories of individual people.
so, some toyotas may suck, but in general they are of higher quality
than, say, GM products. in the same way, people in general feel sony
products are of higher quality than competitors - i have no quarrel
with that too. i have a sony CD/tape player from 1995 or 1994 that i
still use while washing dishes today.

samsung products are ok. samsung is a blu-ray supporter too.
