The images on that pic show a BD-ROM structure, with BD-J objects (Java
apps) running on it.

Since credit cards and SIM cards with their very limited storage (less
than 100 kb) can run Java apps, it'll be trivial to have a disc with 25
or 50 GB run java apps too.
