Yes, that's true, and I expect that material originally shot on 1080i
video (HD television specials and such) will be stored at that
resolution. However, Blu-Ray shills would have you believe that only
Blu-Ray is capable of storing movie content at 1080p/24, when in fact
both formats can and will.
