That is why I picked it....after initially putting in a preorder for HD DVD
that I canceled.

The Oppo is not that expensive and has a library of titles (DVD) for
upconverting (by the way, some DVDs do a lot better than others at that).

I will wait to be stunned by HD before I buy into it fully.
