Hi
I had the same problem! I bought a player at Argos UK which said it worked with
W98 and it didn't.Of course they have a policy of non return on Mp3 players.
I found a site called advance mp3 and picked a player and wrote to them for
confirmation that it would work. They replied immediately yes and I bought a
512mb 'pebble', they do a 1GB as well.
Its brilliant.Sound is loud and crystal clear.Though I bought a better
headphones.Has drivers for 98 and music software which I dont use as it drag
and drops perfectly!

or choose another!
