For everybody that hasn't bothered to read:

According to Sony's information on the product, a 3 minute charge will
give you enough power for *3 hours* of playback, in some sort of
power-saving mode and playing Sony's ATRAC format rather than MP3.

Playing their ATRAC format on a full charge, again using the
power-saving mode, you get 50 hours of playback.

The guy is lying, basically.
