DH played the tape in analog and recorded it on a DVD, right?
Or are you using iLink?

Tapes don't have files so I assume you are refering to the files on DVD.

That should not happen if you are recording the DVD in LP mode.
Are you using mini-DVD's or full size (like a CD)?
