I have a BLT and still find it useful, but it's just too easy to
setup a Gigabit LAN and connect a HTPC, which can of
course, play them all. There is no need to even setup a
streaming server. With Network Attached Storage, you
need not even fire up any other PCs on the LAN, just the
HTPC. Playing a file off the NAS accomplishes the
same effect as streaming it. I did it to be able to use AVC-
H264 with the higher profiles and with main profile for
archived TV series stored in much smaller files. This makes
HD much more practical.
