The zoom feature lets you zoom in AND out, you can even zoom out so far as
that the picture is half the original size and has black lines not only at
the top but along the sides if you know what i mean.
I replaced the hard drive with a standard maxtor IDE drive and it is as
simple as replacing a PC drive, remove the 4 screws from the machine cover,
4 more screws from the hard drive bracket, remove the IDE cable and the
power cable and replace with another drive. Enter the setup menu and select
format, thats it!! has worked flawlessly for the last 4 months.
LG release firmware quite frequently if needed, ive updated the firmware by
buring it to a CD a couple of times so far.

see here for HD replacement, it sounds a lot more complicated that it is
though!
