Could someone please help. I have had a problem for some time and suspect
there is an easy solution. I have tried dowloading video files such as wmv,
mpeg, avi. I know how to select all the parts of the download and how to
combine and decode, but my problem is when the posting has several files
which should join some how. The posting usually lists the files such as
..wmv001, .wmv002, wmv003 etc. To play them I usually rename after deleting
the 001 bit. However the only one which plays is the first file, the rest
will not play and I get an error message usually saying the file extension
is wrong.
If someone can tell me where I am going wrong I would be so very grateful
