The HDTV Blueray battle is a bit like two horseshoe makers arguing about the
best type of shoe when just down the road Mr Ford is starting to make his
first Model T.

For a start no one with half a brain is going to buy either format until the
"war" is won. By which time most of us will all be downloading HD films via
our 100gb broadband and storing them on our media servers. There will only
be a small uneconomic market left for the players and disks, kinda like
horseshoes.
