I didn't say it was the "most accurate method" I claimed (but did
not say explicitly) that it is the fastest and easiest method of bringing
multiple angles within a few (~5) frames of sync. After that, if you
can see the difference, slip it to wherever you want. It took longer
to read this paragraph than it takes to actually do it.

Note further that in NTSC-land, 1 frame of video is ~33 feet.
