i still don't buy it. price differentiation is great when you are
ALREADY associated with a high-quality product, BUT not when the game
is only beginning. Therefore, there must be some difference in terms of
the costs to produce - not only in the licensing costs, but also the
components.

well, as i said i believe blu-ray will win in the long-term because of
higher storage, better branded manufacturers, and better features -
especially as the price will almost immediately drop because of the
fact more manufacturers are using blu-ray.
its use in the PS3 is just icing on the cake.
