If I had an infinite amount of money to spend on an HDV camera I'd
probably have bought an XLH1. But since I didn't have an infinite
amount I bought a Z1 instead and I'm pretty happy with it: biggest
problem is that it's too big and heavy to use for holiday videos, so
for that I have to make do with SD from my TRV900 :).

If you don't need the XLRs and the ability to shoot both PAL and NTSC,
the FX1 should be just about as good.
