Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of ATOMIC BETTY: BETTY TO THE RESCUE!
(VOLUME 2), THE BIG DOLL HOUSE, FAITH, HORROR HOUSE ON HIGHWAY 5,
JOECARTOON.COM GREATEST HITS #1, THE JUDY GARLAND SHOW (WITH RAY BOLGER,
VIC DAMONE, MEL TORME, AND JACK JONES), THE PYJAMA GIRL CASE, SOMEWHERE,
TOMORROW, and SORRY FOR KUNG FU:
ATOMIC BETTY: BETTY TO THE RESCUE! (VOLUME 2) (reviewed by David
Johnson, overall score 75/100):
"Atomic Betty does nothing for me. It's a mediocre cartoon, featuring
all the bluster and craziness typical of ADHD animation like, say, The
Fairly Oddparents, but only a fraction of the wit."

THE BIG DOLL HOUSE (reviewed by Steve Evans, overall score 63/100):
"If you absolutely, positively gotta see just one women-in-prison movie,
accept no substitutes."

FAITH (reviewed by Michael Rankins, overall score 71/100):
"The chief problem with Faith is that it's a tiresome three-and-one-half-
hour miniseries with a cracking good two-hour movie buried somewhere
inside, struggling to break out. "

HORROR HOUSE ON HIGHWAY 5 (reviewed by David Johnson, overall
score 45/100):
"With at least a passable transfer I'd be watching a different film.
Though, to be fair, the film itself would be just as crappy, but it
wouldn't have strained my eyeballs trying to decipher the on-screen
crappiness. And I wouldn't be in such a surly mood."

JOECARTOON.COM GREATEST HITS #1 (reviewed by Brett Cullum, overall
score 72/100):
"The problem with sitting down in front of your TV and watching a ton of
these back to back is that they wear out their welcome all too quickly.
I can only laugh so long at foul language and animal bits splattering
everywhere."

THE JUDY GARLAND SHOW (WITH RAY BOLGER, VIC DAMONE, MEL TORME, AND JACK
JONES) (reviewed by Chris Claro, overall score 85/100):
"Garland is at her most unguarded in this segment, given that it's
nothing but conversation. Her neediness and low self-esteem show as she
comments about her weight and appearance. Though it never reaches the
status of downright cringeworthy, there's a morbid fascination in seeing
a movie star as exposed as Garland allowed herself to be in these
segments. With the level of image protection and brand management
practiced by most performers in the 21st century, producing an off-the-
cuff segment such as this one would be impossible today."

THE PYJAMA GIRL CASE (reviewed by Steve Evans, overall score 64/100):
"Any screenwriter who goes to this much trouble to jerk an audience
around with plot twists and bizarre characters ought to deliver a mind-
blowing climax. Instead, this picture flames out in a sputter of
unanswered questions and confusing character motivations."

SOMEWHERE, TOMORROW (reviewed by Brett Cullum, overall score 75/100):
"You could certainly do worse than watching a teenaged Sarah Jessica
Parker do the whole Ghost routine. The real question is, do you want to?
I'd rather see Square Pegs make its way in to my collection somehow."

SORRY FOR KUNG FU (reviewed by Bill Gibron, overall score 55/100):
"Perhaps if the translation had been better, if the cast had tried to
connect with the audience, or if Svilicic had actually told us what this
title means (during the making-of material we see 'Bruce Lee' bandied
about as a possible name for the film), we might be able to enjoy Sorry
for Kung Fu."
