Mostly, you reprogram players by putting the appropriate firmware files
on a data CD and loading that CD onto the CD tray.
Sometimes you have to do something special while loading the CD, like
crossing your eyes and whistling, or setting the player in the correct
mode.
You must not press any controls or turn off the device until it has
completed the task.
If it exists, you would find the firmware and instructions on the
manufacturer's site or on some hacking site. Try www.dvdhelp.com (they
used to have CD players there as well) or Google.
