I don't know the receiver, but I went through the same thing until
I figured it out. For each satellite, you may have an option called
"DiSEqC". Hook your C-band to #1 and Ku-band to #2. Then, set the
option for each C-band satellite to 1 and each Ku-band satellite to 2.
That should take care of that.
BTW, you may have up to four ports on a switch. If so, I assume
you could hook up another receiver to each one (if you wanted to
dedicate a satellite to IA5 Ku, for example).
