Up until Comets started offering a special deal on the Sagem HD50 I'd
have said the Sony was head and shoulders above the rest of the RPTV
market with their 50"er, in terms of value for money and general all
round quality.

However, Comets have dropped the previously £1500 50" DLP Freeview set
to just £999 for a short while, and it's the bargain of the moment.
Don't get me wrong, the Sony is fantastic, it's just the Sagem is
slightly better in every way than the Sony, and now it's slightly
cheaper. Seems a no-brainer to me.
