I've had the Sagem and returned it after 2 weeks due to the Rainbow effect
(Only affects some people). It's a DLP thing but other than that the picture
was fantastic.

Bought the Sony as a replacement (from John Lewis Bluewater who pricematched
a national retailer for 1199 inc 5 yr guarantee and free delivery). Took a
while to setup properly but it is quite superb. I've got a Sony HDX910
connected via HDMI and pictures are excellent - just watch Dr Who! (the 910
upscales to the Tv's native resolution of 1280x720p), old modded Xbox
connected via component and Xbox 360 conneted via VGA (this does work at the
TV's native resolution too!).

I am very pleased with this set; couldn't recommend it highly enough!

Cheers,

kubrick.
