The only way I can figure that you say something like this about ethanol, is
because corn ethanol is calculated to have only a 1.4 efficiency rating.
But ethanol made from cellulose will boost that to a 2.0 efficiency rating.
But, I also mentioned cars that are ethanol hybrids that plug into the grid.
Such a car would be able to get 100 mpg.
We'll still need oil. But not necessarily petrol.
Like another person who posted said, after acheiving the above hybrid, the
rest of our petrol needs could be pumped from within the US.
