You're right Josh,my receiver does detect when a dvd has the flagged
signal (matrix or discreet) back surround channel.That is the case for
the star wars trilogy discs but the back surround channel with phantom
menace,attack of the clones and sith do not have the flag detection
3/3/.1 only 3/2/.1...
