What I'm curious about is whether the PJ-TX200 will de-interlace HD
1080i material through the HDMI input. Page 45 of the instruction
book seems to indicate only the composite, S-Video and Component
connections will de-interlace 1080i inputs.
In relation to HD-DVD (which was released in the USA on 18th April
2006) apparently these HD discs will be flagged so that the analogue
Component outputs may be down-rezzed to 960x540 because of "Piracy"
considerations.
Italo, have you ever fed a 1080i signal through the HDMI input? If so,
does it de-interlace and so produce a Progressive-scan image?
