There's a few here who have substantial broadcast production systems
that would cost well in excess of $200,000.
Mines definitely bigger than Leonard's and includes three powerful PC
suites with both Premier Pro and Canopus Edius plus a lap top with both
editors installed too. We also run a community facility with a G5/FCP 5.
and two PD170's
Due to the still developing HD options we only carry several HDV types
including Z1, A1 and GYHD101 and hire anything else as required. Though
we still use a DSR500WS. VCR's include PVW2800, DSR 85, Hi8, HDV, Umatic
SP and shared access to Digi Beta and SX. HDCAM is hired in.
Lots of Grade 2 studio and location Monitors and all the other audio,
grips and lighting accoutrements required for high value productions.
