Last I checked, one of those freedoms was that of free speech. Nothing
in the first ammendment that it has to be English speech... Or speech
you have to agree with.

And BTW, if you gave the average American the spanish and english texts
of the anthem, I bet that they wouldn't understand either one... Or
explain where this came from. How many people think it is about the War
of Independence?

The American Anthem is a horrible, convoluted, ugly, terribly pompous
song, that *no one* I've ever met could sing, recite, or even explain
what it was about. I'm with Ben Franklin on this one; we should have
stuck with Yankee Doodle Dandy.
