Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of BACHELOR PARTY VEGAS, BETTY HUTTON
DOUBLE FEATURE: THE PERILS OF PAULINE AND THE STORK CLUB, CAGED HEAT,
CARNAGE FOR THE DESTROYER, MANNA FROM HEAVEN, MERCENARY FOR JUSTICE, and
STREETS OF LEGEND:
BACHELOR PARTY VEGAS (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 50/100):
"Bachelor Party Vegas is a predictable, half-baked raunchfest that lacks
any substantial laughs. Heck, it's not even that raunchy; the 'sexual
content' warning in the rating box is largely due to the cringe-worthy
dialogue. I've got nothing nice to say about this dumbass movie."

BETTY HUTTON DOUBLE FEATURE: THE PERILS OF PAULINE AND THE STORK CLUB
(reviewed by James A. Stewart, overall score 65/100):
"Both of these movies are likeable with broad comic strokes that show
off Betty Hutton's timing and style. Her working-girl hijinks are a bit
more obvious than, say, an Alice Faye would be in similar roles, but
it's Hutton's way of making roles her own."

CAGED HEAT (reviewed by Ian Visser, overall score 60/100):
"Don't try to convince me this is great art, important politics, or even
decent filmmaking, and I won't try to convince you that Corman was a
hack out for the money."

CARNAGE FOR THE DESTROYER (reviewed by David Johnson, overall
score 35/100):
"Monkeys may enjoy it. Unless they have a handful of fecal matter
to amuse themselves with, then it's no contest. Poop in the hands
all the way."

MANNA FROM HEAVEN (reviewed by Bill Gibron, overall score 62/100):
"Certainly this is a fantasy, a portrait of a Buffalo, N.Y., that, sans
snow, most residents wouldn't recognize even with a side order of wings.
No mention is made of the real world outside the snug little fantasy
land inhabited by our competing clans and everyone is friendly, helpful,
and community oriented."

MERCENARY FOR JUSTICE (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 69/100):
"Steven Seagal is back in action. Yeah, he's less 'buff' and more
'buffet' these days, but brother still knows how to snarl and shoot guns
at bad guys."

STREETS OF LEGEND (reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway, overall score 35/100):
"This really dumb girl whose equally dumb boyfriend is in the clink
meets and falls for a really dumb street racer. The dumb boyfriend
escapes from the clink and attempts to kick the ass of the dumb street
racer. And a bunch of characters who have absolutely nothing to do with
the plot drive their cars really fast."
