That would do it! Most rightards wouldn't even realize it was hemp anymore!
But seriously, if Americans took the time to think it through thoroughly;
many would *demand* that we explore this avenue. It could be a
revolutionary change.
It could totally revitalize the farming industry, and make farming a good
paying job that American workers would want to do again.
It could slow or even reverse the migration from the heartlands to the
coastal areas. I was shocked to learn that almost 50% of Americans live
within 5 miles of a coast, and more are moving every year.
Real estate in the heartlands would fuckin BOOM like it has been on the
coasts.
I don't think that anyone believes that biofuels are going to totally
replace fossil fuels, but it could most definitely heavily supplement
fossily fuels until we can developement more permanent technologies.
