i'm along with steve, other than i run vegas 6 on a reasonably good pc.
most of my work is doco's, so there's really no need for any outside
post, other than bumpers and titling. i've actually got a pd170, since
it was around when i finally dumped my sp rig and i find it fine for
nearly all my work. 16:9 etc., i simply hire what i need....
