For most people using 'normal' newsreaders, you find the 'block sender'
command on the Tools or Messages menu, or some such.

For AOL users and Google Groups access, you reply to the sender you wish
to block with a message containing the phrase *plonk*. Google records
this against your profile and blocks future messages from that sender.
