In everywhere but ebay, it's the seller's responsiblity to get the
product to the buyer. Since it's acceptible practice to pass the
insurance fees to the buyer, most sellers have assumed this means they
are not responsible for a lost package. I guess if you give the buyer
the chance to decline insurance, that's ok. I'm not sure why you would
do that, because if anything goes wrong, it could be a pain in the ass,
with the buyer raising hell anyway and getting ebay and paypal on your
back. Just don't give them the option and charge them for the
insurance.
