This is precisely my point. Living in PAL land myself I felt Avid had a
less than great attitude towards us users. 4.5 ended up being stable enough
for me but that was as far as I was willing to go.

It just shows how poor Avid's quality assurance is.
I don't think they give a shit. They know fools that suck up the marketing
BS will continue to buy their overpriced undertested software.

might help keep some of these huge corporations honest...
