I seriously think you will be better off with the Eiki. DLP and 3500
lumens are the selling point for me . I have installed many projectors
in the enviornment that you mention and a high lumen and contrast ratio
that the DLP provides will really help in lit auditoriums.

I used Sanyo and Sharp for my installs. I was very happy with those
brands.

Good luck and check out a good action DVD to see the performance
benifits between DLP and LCD.

Auto shut off is a must as well.
