Brand and Brand Name are not the same thing. Not when companies like Maxell,
Verbatim, etc. don't make their own discs. When they buy from another
company the brand name (Verbatim, etc.) is unimportant it is the brand of
the disc, or who made it that is (Taiyo Yuden, Prodisc, etc.) There is a
very big difference.
