If, like me, you have been got fed up with waiting for the Beeb to get
around to releasing the second series of Chris Langham's excellent
"People Like Us" on DVD, you might be interested in this:

I ordered it last week, and it arrived yesterday - 18 quid including
shipping. Both series 1 and 2 in a box set, English soundtracks with
switchable Portuguese subtitles. The menus are in Portuguese, and there
are no chapter points in any episode, but the quality is otherwise
excellent. According to Wikipedia, there are some music licensing
issues with releasing series 2 in the UK, which don't apply in
Portugal. Not sure if this is a BBC-sanctioned release, but there are
BBC logos all over the cases and discs, and they are proper pressed
discs - it certainly isn't a home-produced bootleg, and FNAC are the
European equivalent of Borders, so I doubt they'd be selling anything
dodgy.

Well worth it for the episode about the Airline Pilot alone....
