I cannot understand why anyone would get upset or even care if there is a
post in a language other than English - what's the problem? To say the group
is an English group is nonsense. English is currently the World Franc lingua
for business and many other transactions so it certainly does help at the
present time to post in English if possible but it is not going to remain
that way. In less than 50 years time China will be the dominate financial
and technological power and there will be a change of the pattern of posts
and web sites.
I post in English in a couple of German Forum sites and generally get
useful help from multi lingual German speakers - I certainly don't get
insulted because I can't post in German. The Internet is "The World Wide
Web" it allows people of all races and cultures to get to know each other
and hopefully help each other. To react like a parochial insular village
bumpkins only draws attention to ones own inadequacies and uncharitable
attitudes. It doesn't make too much intelligence to decipher what the
German speaking post was asking.
