Jaguar was the straw that broke the camel's back here for us. Hence my take
on this Apple crap.

I would hardly consider a move to Apple an upgrade. Don't get too anxious
here..
There is no way in hell I would ever actually BUY another Apple. If a dual
1GHz mac is not powerful enough to edit (ie.. it had a damn hard time doing
the job a single 1Ghz PC did flawlessly) then my Dual Xeon machines will
work just dandy.. as they do now.
Hell, one job I had which FCP crapped out on was finished on a VAIO laptop.
In fact, I trust that Specs will come back with his take on this stuff after
a while. I am interested in that.
