If you didn't offer them any more details than you did here,
I can see why you got that kind of response. Nobody wants
to exchange dozens of messages with you trying to extract the
necessary details.

OK, where did you purchase the songs from? What did they say
when you asked them? (or asked other customers of theirs?)
Are their songs *supposed* to be playable on iPod?
Can you play the songs on your computer or anywhere else?
Can you play purchased songs from other sources?

You really need to give much more detail if you want anybody
to have even a slight chance of helping you debug the problem.
Do you know anything about differential diagnosis?
