our experience exactly! and support was like calling the telephone operator
and asking for help. we even granted them access to our machine and they
installed some kind of software and told us to reboot the machine (three
different times) and then finally said they seen the problem and told us to
take it to an authorized repair station, which we did, then they wouldn't
warrnaty it because they said we should have taken it to an authorized
warranty station, not just an authorized repair station. talk about
legalism? that was it for use, let alone all the crashes on FCP. thus, we
got enough money out of some sucker in arizona to get a gateway dual core,
avid express pro, and avid liquid. WOW! what an unbeleivably simple and
unchallenging move. wished we'd never heard of Apple or Macintosh or Final
Cut Pro!
