Kyle,
Regardless of the group, let me try and help. For the iPod, all that you load
onto it must go through iTunes. If you rip a CD with software other than
iTunes, you have to Import that ripped Mp3 into iTunes, then d-l it to the
iPod. Same with video, still images, etc. Even purchased music from other
sources than the iTunes store need to be first imported into iTunes, then
loaded for them to play. An extra step - yes, but a necessary one.
There is also a fairly active forum (actually several, fora) at the Apple
site. Navigate to those and you can post your questions and get useful
answers.
