Well it has happened to me again. I downloaded a movie .avi file.
burned it to a DVD-R+ using toast 7.02 on a iMac G5 running 10.4.6.
After over two hours of coding and burning at 2X the resulting disk had
no sound. Is there any Mac software that would allow me to convert the
..avi to a type used for DVD video and test the conversion without
making a frisbee out of an expensive DVD-R+?
