Typically the system used to edit doesn't matter much to credits unless it
was part of the post deal with free gear or something. Tons of movies are
cut with FCp. Lots of people have problems with it. I would argue that most
FCP users are first time editors who have never cut with any other system.
Or they used to cut linear and now FCP is their first NLE. Hence their
tendency to think it is the cats meow.

There used to be a guy here who, I won't name for fear he'll get on his
soapbox again, who proclaimed that the shit NBC series "Scrubs" was cut on
FCP and that was a big deal. I think he assumed that everyone has respect
for episodic TV from the big three. Episodic TV shows are cut on everything
and at the same time are some of the very worst shit there is. I don't care
what it is cut on if it is pure shit.
