The Canadian Screen Training Centre's 26th annual Summer Institute of
Film and Television will be taking place in Ottawa Tuesday May 30th
through to Sunday June 4th, 2006. Top Canadian film and television
writers, producers and directors will be in the Nation's Capital to
teach aspiring and professional film makers alike the skills to succeed
in the film and television industry. The Summer Institute of Film and
Television is Canada's first national training school and offers an
unparalleled opportunity to learn from the best talents in the
business.
SIFT 2006 instructors include provocative director Deepa Mehta and
renowned documentary filmmakers Peter Raymont and Peter Wintonick who,
along with other established industry professionals, will lead the 22
workshops offered in the areas of screenwriting, directing, producing,
documentary, acting and production crafts at the advanced, intermediate
and introductory levels.
