Also, the CGI movements (when they're far away from the
building models) can be converted to zoom commands and fed
into the REAL camera and can simulate far away shots of the
actors in the live action layer of the scene. I.E., zooming
can simulate distance. Zooming in a green-screen stage can
make actors look farther away that they really are from the
camera.
