Except, iTMS gives me the ability to use one of the best HD-based media
players on the market - the 5th Gen iPod Video 60GB - and one of the
largest online music stores with legitimate purchases of music from
artists as diverse as Atom & His Package to RHCP.
I have no problem with DRM; I see no benefit in using the stores that
only supply WMA files, since they have significantly smaller ranges
(with much duplication). And frankly, I've BOUGHT £18 worth of tracks on
iTMS, but have over 100 /free/ Song Of The Week downloaded tracks (new
and not-mainstream material), in my library of 9,850+ tracks - the rest
of the material is ripped directly from CDs (over 600 of them), or
demos/free downloads from my friends' bands.
Don't you get it? iTMS is a store I would visit by choice for the
content if I didn't like having the physical CD.
