Hopefully you don't have the famous soft-focus problem
that plagued certain XL-1's ---- I had to get rid of mine back in 1999
I'd zoom in --- get a manual or auto focus ---then pull out --and the
picture would go a hair soft
drove me NUTZ
You might just be seeing slight artifacts in the DV compression
scheme-- when your shot is locked down--- it looks great --- but when
you or the subject moves --- you see a very slight jaggy effect ----
nothing you can do about that
