No kidding!

You're trying to tell me that DVD's are less reliable than CD's by
nature. That is not true. They are less reliable because they are not
necessarily being manufactured very well at this point in time.

If you were using, for example, Princo DVD-R's, I wouldn't blame you
even for thinking that the technology is useless!

But trust me - try a media brand *which is known to be good*.
