In CDex's readme.txt:
CDex is using the Adaptec's ASPI library Manager to communicate with the
CD-ROM device, So make sure that you have installed the proper ASPI drivers
It was those ASPI drivers that caused my problems. Poikosoft doesn't use
the ASPI drivers.
Looking at CDex now I see it is rather limited in what it can do. I see
FLAC is not an option. That is what I will be using to build my music
server.
