Then you will not learn the truth.
The DVDs I referenced are not wingnut conspiracy. In fact the
producers went out of their way to avoid any of that.
The leftist Sundance Film Festival does not give out awards to wingnut
conspiracies. The leftist Washington Post does not give favorable
reviews to wingnut conspiracies. You are on the wrong side of this
issue when you continue to indict the films as wingnut conspiracies.

This controversial documentary about the stand-off between an
unorthodox Christian group - the Branch Davidians, under the
leadership of the young, charismatic David Koresh - and the FBI and
ATF in Waco, Texas, from February to April 1993 presents a different
spin on the events from that of the United States government, which
held that the Branch Davidians set the fire that destroyed their
compound, and killed the vast majority of them, on April 19, 1993.
Using footage from the 51 day siege, from the congressional hearings
afterwards, from people involved in all aspects of the siege, and from
experts technical, psychological, and religious, the movie suggests
that the Branch Davidians were not a cult, but a valid religious group
practicing under First Amendment freedoms who fell victim to first the
ineptitude of an ATF raid designed to garner the agency positive
attention and later the cruel, methodical work of the FBI, who
over-saw the murder of the Davidians and then quickly covered it up.

What happened at the Branch Davidian compound in Mt. Carmel, Texas, in
1993? Why did 4 federal agents and 86 civilians lose their lives? The
powerful documentary Waco: The Rules of Engagement asks these and many
other difficult questions, and the answers are deeply disturbing, even
for the most cynical. Using interviews, news footage, testimony before
Congress, and infrared photographic analysis, the film relentlessly
chips away at the government's story that David Koresh and his
followers were a dangerous cult involved in strange sex and drug
practices who were preparing to slaughter their neighbors and that
they immolated themselves la Jonestown, rather than give themselves
up peacefully. Nearly every element of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco,
and Firearms' and the FBI's cover-up is exposed as fraudulent and the
viewer is left wondering when, if ever, justice will finally be
served. Warning: There are a few minutes of extremely graphic footage
of the burnt bodies of the Davidians; though this is sickening, it
seems less so than the tragic mistakes made by law enforcement
officials.

Shaking the foundation of democracy, the shocking revelations behind
the tragic series of events outside Waco, Texas that killed four
federal agents and 76 men, women and children of the Branch Davidian
religious sect has finally been exposed. Winner of an Academy-Award
nomination in light of its incredible discoveries, Waco: The Rules of
Engagement brings forth devastating evidence of federal law
enforcement gone tragically wrong. It dares to suggest the ATF
provoked war with a group whose apocalyptic religious beliefs and
rumored manufacturing of illegal weapons made them easy targets for an
inevitable abuse of its members civil and human rights. Waco: The
Rules of Engagement will change forever the way the world thinks and
talks about the tragedy at Waco and, most importantly, it will renew
our commitment to the basic precepts of tolerance and freedom upon
which American society is built.

You do not speak for rational people. You are a statist bigot.

The JBGTs expected the Davidians to cave in. But they made a mistake -
they forgot that the Davidians were Texans - and Texans do not cave in
to JBGTs without a fight.
After the fiasco had gone on too long, the govt devised a plan to make
it all go away. For one thing, attorney Dick DeGuerin was getting
close to the truth and he had the camera on him.
So the JBGTs injected highly flammible CS gas into Mt. Carmel. Then
the facility went up in flames. Then they immediately destroyed all
evidence of what happened by bulldozing the entire scene.
In documents acquired thru the Freedom of Information Act for the
wrongful death lawsuit, it was clearly shown that the Pentagon played
a major role in the Waco Massacre. This was published in the Dallas
Morning News at the time of the trial. The documents showed that the
Chiefs of Staff were briefed daily on the situation.
You can wallow in your ignorance if you want, but most people are not
buying it.
